Psalm 95
Oh come, let us sing to the Lord;
Let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!
Let us come into His presence with thanksgiving;
Let us make a joyful noise to Him with songs of praise!
For the Lord is a great God,
and a great King above all gods.
In His hand are the depths of the earth;
the heights of the mountains are His also.
The sea is His, for He made it,
and His hands formed the dry land.

Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
Let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!

Almighty God,
You have raised Jesus from the grave

and crowned him Lord of all.

We confess that we have not bowed before Him

or acknowledged His rule in our lives.

We have gone along with the way of the world

and failed to give Him glory.

Forgive us and raise us from sin,

that we may be Your faithful people,

obeying the commands of our Lord Jesus Christ,

who rules the world and is head of the church, His body. Amen.

1 Corinthians 15:20-22

Christ has been raised from the dead,

the first fruits of those who have died.

For as by a man came death,

by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead.

For as all die in Adam, so all will be made alive in Christ.

In Christ, God answers us and sets us free.

In Christ, we are forgiven! Thanks be to God.
