Our church exists to glorify God by proclaiming the hope found in Jesus and
pursuing the transformation made possible by his grace.
We believe our identity must be rooted in the Gospel not our performance. We must be honest about our brokenness and turn from the sin that we still struggle with after conversion, because there is no transformation without personal responsibility. And, at the same time, we can be hopeful about the real change brought about by the Spirit through regeneration as we pursue obedience to Jesus’ commands.
Therefore, at Hope Community Church we preach the Gospel (to believers and unbelievers alike), call people to repentance, and disciple people to obey the commands of Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit. We equip people to live in community, be grounded in the word of God, commune with God through private and corporate worship and lean into prayer … all rooted in thankfulness (Colossians 3:1-4:6).
God intends all of our lives to be shaped by the good news that Jesus came to transform everything
– which impacts everywhere we live and everyone we relate to!
